Germanys Public TV Station WDR is going to show the concerts of the Meltfestival in their programm ROCKPALAST at the night of
1./2. October 2006 at 00.30 - 02.00 a.m..
Absolutely a must is the legendary concert of
the german electro-hiphop Band DEICHKIND.
2880 Grand Prix du Film
Filmmaker David Köhne and Kosei Takasaki
took part in the Leverkusen based Filmfestival
2880 Grand Prix Du Film at the 25.-27. August ‘06.
The 2880 Festival is a 48 Hours Filmfestival,
which means that you have only 48 hours
from the time you get your thema
until the deadline for handing in the film.
We had a more difficult task to accomplish,
because we had to send the film
to West Germany, so actually we filmed
and edited the movie in only 16-20 hours.
The screening will be at the 9th of Septembe
in Leverkusen, and the Finals
at the 16. September ‘06
kokomono MELTed the Mainstage
In the 3rd consecutive year kokomono rocked the mainstage
of the extraordinary MELT Festival, which took place in
Graefenhainichen near to Berlin.
This year kokomono was doing visuals for with MIA,
The Streets, Nightmares on Wax, Roni Size,
Aphex Twins and others

The new short movie by a.nowak and k.takasaki,
MAERC!, was shwon at the 2.nd Short Film Festival
GALAO-Shots in Berlin.
MAERC! was among the Best 20 movies
kokomono’s back from LUX 2006
kokomono was invited to the
International Veejay and Video Art Meeting
LUX 2006,
taking place at the
Sala Ines in Sevilla, Spain at 26th of May.
kokomono was showing a 45 minutes performance,
which he partly produced especially for Sevilla.
Absolutely new stylez and commented
by the visitors with a warm and
supporting feedback, the very first 15 minutes
gave a glance where vjaying
can develop apart from
visuals created and manipulated
by automated computers.

51st International Short Film Festival Oberhausen 2005 .
Looppool is a collection of 50 infinte videoloops
by 55 international artists.

kokomono was invited to the csides festival,
a festival for independent electronic music
and political media art,
taking place in Jerusalem, Israel from 29th to 31st of August.
And he also played at the Afterparty with Anna and Zahid from Pacothek at Club Stanga at the 2nd of September.
K contributes videowork and filmed second ending
J. W. Goethe’s reluctantly wrote a second ending for his theaterplay “Stella”, but his original ending triggered a scandal, he had not expected.
kokomono had the chance to work together with director Barabara Zimmermann and the Ensemble “Harry Hol schon mal den Wagen” from south-germany’s Freiburg. He contributed videobackgrounds and a filmed version of the “bloody” second ending for this piece in Fabrik Theater in Freiburg…
