“Wer bin ich?” lautet die zentrale Frage in dieser sinnlichen Komödie um Liebe, Leidenschaft, Verwechslung, Eifersucht, Verwirrung und Suche nach wahrer eigener Identität.
Hingerissen von ihrer Vollkommenheit, besucht Göttervater Jupiter die Alkmene in Gestalt ihres Ehemannes Amphitryon und erlebt mit ihr eine leidenschaftliche Liebesnacht. Von der Schlacht zurückkehrend, erwartet den siegreichen Feldherrn Amphitryon zuhause seine größte Niederlage: alles wird ihm genommen, sogar seine eigene Identität. - Was bleibt, wenn selbst das eigene Ich abhanden kommt?
In ihrer Inszenierung des Kleistschen Klassikers mit Alkmenes berühmtem Schlusswort: “Ach!” lässt Barbara Zimmermann ihr vielseitiges Schauspielteam die Konflikte um die göttlichen Doppelgänger in einem Wechselspiel zwischen Videofilm und Bühnenrealität austragen.

Invited are dancers, vjs, video artists, performers, musicians,

kokomono artist Kosei Takasaki created an astonishing video for the customers lounge of GRUNDIG at the International Consumer Electronic Expo (IFA) Berlin. You can see the video at the IFA from Aug. 31st to Sept. 5th at the Expo Area Berlin in Hall 23B.

Another abstract shortfilm by the filmmakers david koehne & kosei takasaki that was selected among the 18 competiting movies for the Galao Short Film Festival Berlin. The theme to apply for that festival was “spoon”. The movie will also be shown at the ClipClub in the Cinema Central in Berlin Mitte.
The music was composed and performed by friedrich kleinknecht, a former member of the bavarian state opera munich (germany). Inspired by the german word for spoon -”loeffel”- he created in an late night session a simple but dynamic musical theme for the movie.
